Job summary

FCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance repairs in the community, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, grounds, and appliance repairs. You will assist with make ready and service requests, following OSHA standards and participating in safety training.

Qualifications

• Formal training or experience in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, appliance repair, pool maintenance or HVAC systems.
• Willingness to perform janitorial, grounds maintenance and related tasks as needed.
• Ability to assist supervisors and managers in daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Handle resident service requests promptly and courteously.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents according to schedule.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and planning.
• Keep workshop and storage areas clean, safe and organized.
• Perform general carpentry, plumbing, electrical and appliance repairs.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, cooling towers, pumps and controls.
• Maintain central air conditioning equipment and related components.
• Ensure professional appearance and adherence to policies at all times.
• Follow OSHA standards and participate in monthly safety training.
