Job summary

Fairfield Property Management in Louisiana is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to service our residential properties. You will respond to work orders, perform general upkeep, and help maintain high standards of living for our residents, while upholding Fairfield's quality guidelines.

Join a hands-on team performing carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs, and some grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of residential property maintenance experience.
• On-call availability and prompt response to calls.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks for property upkeep and safety.
• Respond to resident work orders in a timely manner.
• Carry out carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work as needed.
• Repair appliances, HVAC units, ceiling fans, refrigerators, etc.
• Install sheetrock and paint vacant or occupied apartments.
• Assist in grounds maintenance including pool care, trash removal, and pressure washing.
• Picks up parts and supplies as necessary.
