Job summary

Bigos Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician III at The Whit & Ridgewood Arches in Minneapolis, MN. You will perform installation troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep units, equipment, and common areas up to standards.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining building systems (HVAC, plumbing, boilers), coordinating with the Property Manager on inspections and capital projects, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or certification in mechanical, HVAC, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred.
• 1+ years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in a residential apartment setting or equivalent.
• Certified Pool Operator license, Special Boiler's license, and Type II Refrigerant Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Complete all maintenance work orders.
• Monitor and maintain building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Boilers) and perform needed repairs.
• Assist Property Manager in unit inspections.
• Perform site-level preventative maintenance duties.
• Coordinate major repairs and capital projects with engineers and peers.
• Work with vendors on identified maintenance projects.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
