Job summary

Dietz Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at two residential communities in the Muskegon, MI area. The role covers supervision, budgeting, capital improvements, and ensuring timely service requests while maintaining safety standards.

This full-time position offers a competitive base wage, commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, paid time off and on-call stipends.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years of maintenance experience with 1 year in supervisory role.
• Proficient in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills; ability to manage vendors and projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of maintenance technicians and/or grounds keeper
• Team coaching and development
• Managing unit rehabilitation and capital improvement projects
• Handling resident service requests
• Ensuring product readiness
• Grounds maintenance
• Maintenance inventory
• Budget and expense control
• Preventative maintenance
• Coordination of vendors and city inspections
• Report to the Community Director
