Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a high-complexity multi-unit residential property at The George, 434 Minna Street, SF. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, and ensure best-in-class building operations.

The role covers HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and general maintenance, with emphasis on safety and quality. Requires 3–4 years in similar settings; English proficiency and a HS diploma are required; multilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years of commercial or multi-unit property experience required.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff; recruit, discipline, and evaluate performance.
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including HVAC; diagnose, disassemble, clean, lubricate, replace parts.
• Perform routine to advanced carpentry tasks: doors, jambs, moldings, painting as needed.
• Perform routine to advanced electrical duties: lighting, wiring, power circuits, switches, lamps, ballasts.
• Perform routine to advanced plumbing: unclog sinks/toilets, faucet repairs, pipe work, fixtures.
• Interface with contractors and vendors; prepare specifications, solicit bids, negotiate services.
