Apalachee Center, Inc. delivers nursing care for residents in a behavioral health setting, taking vital signs and administering medications under physician orders.

The role supports crisis intervention and nursing assessments under RN supervision to ensure safe, effective treatment plans. Qualified applicants will have Florida LPN licensure, CPR and CPI certifications, and experience in psychiatric or substance abuse care.

Qualificações

• Official transcripts from approved vocational or technical school.
• Minimum of one (1) year of LPN experience preferred.
• Previous psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct nursing assessment, care, and completes documentation in accordance with agency policy/program procedures and treatment plans.
• Receives, documents, and implements Admission, Standing/Routine and ad hoc physician orders in accordance with Residential Procedures.
• Completes resident MARs in accordance with unit procedures.
• Administers medication and documents administration in accordance with unit procedures.

Applies current nursing principles and techniques in the care and treatment of patients. Takes vital signs and administers medication as prescribed.
