Job summary

Eskaton in Northern California seeks an experiencedSales professional to drive occupancy growth across communities. You will lead tours, present programs, and communicate Eskaton’s value while managing referrals, contracts, and fees with health-focused clients and families.

The role requires a track record in sales, strong relationship-building, and proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Applicants should have related education and at least three years’ proven sales experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of college study in sales, health or human services required (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • At least three years’ experience in sales with a proven sales or promotion track record.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and close sales.
  • Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office and CRM databases.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the occupancy growth of the community.
  • Conduct community tours and host various prospect and professional events to increase occupancy. Confidently communicate and sell Eskaton's value proposition, contractual information and financial requirements of the community's fees.
  • Set, track and achieve monthly sales goals (KPIs).
  • Schedule monthly community presentations with local resource centers and community events to boost visibility.
  • Optimize daily schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure timely prospect contact.
  • Advance the sales process for prospective residents and families by understanding needs and educating them about Eskaton’s care services and programs.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and daily outbound calling; manage the sale cycle through move-ins.

Essential Job Functions
  • Promotes the occupancy growth of the community.

  • Set, track and achieve monthly sales goals key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Schedule monthly community presentations with local resource centers and community events to boost visibility.
  • Optimize daily schedules and prioritize tasks to make sure prospects are contacted in a timely manner.
  • Advances the sales process for prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors by leading the sale through understanding their needs and educating them about how our care services and programs can meet those needs. Selling Eskaton’s value.
  • Responds promptly to every lead source, incoming telephone call or in-person inquiry from all referral sources, prospective residents, and families. Ownership of CRM accuracy and maintenance, and daily outbound calling is required with this position.
  • Overseer’s the Coordination and completion of all activities needed for the sales cycle and converting community fee’s to move-ins, including, but not limited to, visiting the prospect's home, healthcare providers, or other locations and ensuring that the required forms are completed by the prospect's physician, the prospect, and family prior to move-in.
  • Drive traffic to the community through referral development, networking and events. Join networking groups and seek opportunities to present and host events throughout the greater geographic area to create a strong presence and enhance community awareness.
  • Monitors the financial and health screening process of clients. Explains to prospective members, and other interested persons and groups, all aspects of community services.
  • Maintain your Matrix database that yields relevant information on leads, prospects, to move-ins.
  • Implements the marketing plan which includes: participation (as needed) through all phases of the Life Plan/CCRC membership, Lodge sales and move-in process, special events, promotional strategies, community relations, presentations, etc.
  • Follows the strategic marketing plan components.
  • Must have a sense of urgency and be able to handle many activities and customers at one time. Must have the ability to multitask well.

  • Works in accordance with established safety guidelines; uses proper body mechanics; follows safe work practices; wears appropriate safety gear.
Starting pay ranges from $27.90 per hour - $39.03 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay.
Qualifications
Education:

Minimum two years of college study in sales, health or human services required (or equivalent professional experience). Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Training and Experience:

At least three years’ experience in sales with a proven sales or promotion track record. Ability to build effective relationships and close sales. Designing presentations, public speaking and marketing retirement housing concepts to community groups preferred. Computer literacy required with specific software familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM databases.

Knowledge and Abilities:

Knowledge of healthcare of older adults and delivery of services to that population. Demonstrated knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Sedentary Work

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
