Job summary

Eskaton in Northern California is seeking a dynamic sales professional to promote community occupancy, conduct tours, and present Eskaton's value proposition to prospects and their families. You will manage the sales cycle from first contact to move-in, set monthly KPI goals, coordinate community events, and build relationships with local referral sources.

A background in retirement housing sales, strong communication and CRM skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are

  • Two years of college study in sales, health or human services required (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience designing presentations and public speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the occupancy growth of the community.
  • Conduct community tours and host events to increase occupancy.
  • Set and track monthly sales goals (KPIs).
  • Coordinate and complete all activities needed for the sales cycle through move-ins.
  • Develop referral networks and host events to raise community awareness.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and daily outbound calls.
  • Explain Eskaton's care services and programs to prospective residents and families.

Essential Job Functions



  • Promotesthe occupancy growth of the community.

  • Conduct community tours andhost various prospect and professional eventsandto increaseoccupancy.Confidently communicateand sellEskaton'svalue proposition, contractualinformationand financial requirements of the community's fees.

  • Set,trackand achieve monthly salesgoalskey performance indicators (KPI’s).

  • Schedule monthly community presentations with local resource centers and community events to boost visibility.

  • Optimizedaily schedules and prioritize tasks to make sure prospects are contactedin a timely manner.

  • Advances the sales process for prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors by leading the sale through understanding their needs and educating them about how our care services and programs can meet those needs.Selling Eskaton’s value.

  • Respondspromptlytoeverylead source, incomingtelephone callor in-personinquiryfromallreferral sources, prospective residents, and families.Ownership of CRM accuracy and maintenance, and dailyoutbound callingisrequiredwiththis position.

  • Overseer’s the Coordination and completion of all activities needed for the sales cycle and converting community fee’s to move-ins, including, but not limited to, visiting the prospect's home, healthcare providers, or other locations and ensuring that the required forms are completed by the prospect's physician, the prospect, and family prior to move-in.

  • Drive traffic to the community through referral development, networking and events. Join networking groups and seek opportunities to present and host events throughout the greater geographic area to create a strong presence and enhance community awareness.

  • Monitorsthe financial and health screeningprocess ofclients.Explainstoprospectivemembers, and other interested personsandgroups,allaspects ofcommunityservices.

  • Maintain yourMatrixdatabase thatyieldsrelevantinformation onleads,prospects,to move-ins.

  • Implements the marketingplanwhichincludes:participation (as needed)throughallphasesoftheLifePlan/CCRCmembership,Lodgesales and move-in process,specialevents,promotionalstrategies,communityrelations, presentations, etc.

  • Follows the strategic marketing plan components.

  • Musthaveasense ofurgencyand be able tohandle manyactivitiesandcustomers at one time.Must have the ability to multitask well.

Starting pay ranges from $27.90 per hour - $39.03 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay.


Qualifications


Education:
Minimum two years of college study in sales, health or human services required (or equivalent professional experience). Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.


Training and Experience:
At least three years’ experience in sales with a proven sales or promotion track record. Ability to build effective relationships and close sales. Designing presentations, public speaking and marketing retirement housing concepts to community groups preferred. Computer literacy required with specific software familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM databases.


Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of healthcare of older adults and delivery of services to that population. Demonstrated knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:


Sedentary Work


Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Sedentary work involves sitting more than 67% of a typical workday.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements


The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
