Job summary

The Agency Office of State Human Resources Division Temporary Solutions in Morganton, NC is seeking a Housekeeper (S) for a temporary assignment located at 517 West Fleming Drive, Burke County. The role offers shift work on 2nd and 3rd shifts with premium pay for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Hourly rate of pay is $15.00, based on education and experience as reflected in the application. No state benefits are offered for this temporary position, and employees must separate from permanent roles

Qualifications

Education/experience in housekeeping work directly related to the job.
Equivalency by Education and Experience allowed per the guide.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision, training, and supportive counseling to NCSD residential school students.
Ensure a safe and secure environment and monitor and supervise students.
Enhance learning opportunities and assist students in personal hygiene, homework, projects, and social/recreational activities.
May tutor students in academic subjects and skill development, and provide counseling on interpersonal relationships and behaviors.
Student Life Trainers may teach objectives related to the residential program and evaluate student progress.
