Job summary

SSP International, Inc. is seeking a Residence Life and Logistics Director to oversee safety, housing, dining, and overall participant wellbeing during the Summer Science Program.

The role involves coordinating with host campuses, faculty, and SSPI staff to foster a supportive living and learning environment for 40+ participants over six weeks. The position requires 5+ years working with high school students, ideally with teaching or counseling experience.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required and experience with high school students preferred.
• Administrative or supervisory experience is desirable.
• Site Directors are not teaching faculty; specific subject expertise not required.

Responsibilities

• Live on campus for 6 weeks and coordinate field trips and social activities.
• Serve as primary contact for participant families, host campus, and guest speakers.
• Train, supervise, and mentor TARMs on residential life responsibilities.
• Act as the leader for non-academic components of the program per SSPI policies.
• Develop relationships with university personnel including residence life and facilities.
