Job summary

The RMR Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Charlotte, NC to support leasing, retention and occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional resident experience. The role emphasizes relationship-building, event planning and proactive service across the community.

The ideal candidate will have leasing or property management exposure, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, with knowledge of YARDI. Weekends may be required depending on property needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including residents, employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and present the features and benefits of the property.
• Conduct leasing processes in accordance with policies and federal/state/local laws.
• Maintain resident files and move-ins/outs; process leasing applications.
• Oversee lease renewals and ensure quality customer service.
• Assist with reports, resident communications and market surveys.
