Job summary

The Lead Staff at Chrysalis supports the Residential Manager in daily operations of the residential program, coordinating transportation to medical and other appointments to meet residents' needs.

Responsibilities include implementing and reporting on Person Center Plans, monitoring Behavior Plans, planning weekly menus, assisting with shopping and budgeting, and maintaining supplies. Must be available on a flexible schedule and on call as required.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Experience in the disability field
• Ability to communicate well in verbal and written form
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership abilities
• Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
• Ability to manage personnel and program issues
• Ability to complete program documentation accurately and on time
• Ability to handle crisis situations

Responsibilities

• Maintain individuals' health
• Assist in developing, implementing, and reporting on the Person Center Plans
• Oversees Behavior Plans and Supervision Guidelines to ensure they are followed
• Plan weekly menus for proper nutrition
• Assist individuals in making appropriate purchases at the grocery store
• Teach individuals basic finance skills
• Keep all house supplies in stock
