TruGreen Limited Partnership is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Appleton, WI. The role involves driving a company vehicle on an assigned route and applying lawn care treatments to homes and businesses.

No lawn care experience is required; paid training, on‑the‑job coaching, and company‑paid certification are provided to build the required skills. Expect outdoor work, independent route management, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast‑paced, independent environment safely.

What You’ll Do

What To Expect

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Serving multiple customers each day

What You’ll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
