TruGreen in Rockford, IL is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician to manage a local route and service customers with outdoor treatments. You will drive a company vehicle, apply lawn care products, and build relationships with homeowners while delivering high-quality results.

No prior lawn care experience is required—paid training, hands-on coaching, and company-paid certification help you start quickly. The role offers weekly pay, benefits eligibility after 30 days, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)

What You'll Do

What To Expect

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

What You'll Need
