Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Draftsman/Designer to support residential design projects from site analysis through construction, collaborating with Project Directors and construction teams in Novelty, Ohio.

You will prepare plans for city meetings, gather measurements for base maps, and produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong organization and communication help manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion 3D rendering software
• Knowledge or basic understanding of field measurement techniques, including shooting grade and elevation points
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage several projects at once
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Degree in MLA, BLA, B. Arch, Certified Draftsman, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present plans at city meetings for board review and variance requests
• Gather field measurements and collect grade and elevation points to develop accurate residential site base maps
• Produce detailed drawings and visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborate with Project Directors throughout the design process and coordinate with the construction team during project installation phases
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
