Job summary

Nederveld Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Land Planning CAD Designer to draft site plans, landscape plans, and land development drawings alongside experienced landscape architects, land planners, and civil engineers.

You will use AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and Sketchup to create accurate graphics, support various project stages, and contribute to timely, coordinated design packages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Job description

The Land Planning CAD Designer will work with experienced Landscape Architects, Land Planners, and Civil Engineers to draft site plans, landscape plans, and land development projects at various stages of the design process.

Essential Functions

• Work within AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign Adobe, and Sketchup on residential, commercial and municipal projects
• Draft projects utilizing graphic presentation abilities
• Work with team members to provide accurate and timely service

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Position Type/Expected Hours

This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Physical Demands

This position is largely sedentary. An employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, and hear.
