Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising and interacting with offenders or people in addiction recovery is desirable.
  • Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain offender and program confidentiality as required by law.
  • Supervise offenders or clients assisting with meal preparation.
  • Ensure kitchen safety and compliance with fire and health codes at the site.
  • Maintain and inspect fire equipment and extinguishers as required by local regulations.
  • Plan menus and grocery lists; perform weekly grocery shopping and inventory control.
  • Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and meet dietary requirements as directed by medical staff.
