Job summary

Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas seeks a dedicated Kitchen/Direct Care staff member at the Coastal Bend Men's Campus in Kingsville, TX. You will prepare meals, plan menus, and manage food inventory while ensuring a clean, safe kitchen and adherence to state standards.

You will also perform Direct Care duties on and off campus as scheduled. The role requires a Texas Food Handlers License, willingness to complete Biblical Counseling training, and strong teamwork and communication skills consistent

Qualifications

• Must have Texas Food Handlers License.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to complete Biblical Counseling training.
• Strong communication and relational skills.
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and spiritual maturity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for the students.
• Maintain a clean kitchen that meets state standards.
• Order supplies and manage kitchen inventory.
• Create healthy menus including dietary considerations.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and temperatures.
• Lead Direct Care tasks on/off campus as scheduled.
