Overview

RJE Home Remodeling Company, since 1997 based in Warminster PA, is a small family run and tight-knit company. We perform residential home remodeling to Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania. Our primary projects are kitchens and baths. But we do all aspects of existing residential home remodeling (both interior and exterior projects).

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED Home Remodeling Project Estimator with 3 or more years of experience to join our family. PRIOR PROVEN ESTIMATING EXPERIENCE WITH KITCHENS AND BATHROOM IS A MUST. KNOWLEDGE OF XACTIMATE ESTIMATING SOFTWARE A PLUS.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Scope and prepare detailed budgetary, conceptual and competitive estimates and proposals within the home remodeling space, including providing an estimated timeline with material and labor costs.
• Estimate kitchen, bathroom and general residential remodeling projects. Hands-on experience is a definitive plus.
• Negotiate scopes of work with vendors and subcontractors and discuss project estimates with homeowners for projects ranging from small renovations to large custom remodeling.
• Exterior estimate skills including roofing and siding knowledge are a plus.
• Understand local markets, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Knowledge of preparing project estimates with timelines, material/labor costing and quality control.
• Knowledge of XACTIMATE estimating software a plus.
• Ability to work with and supervise crew technicians and maintain leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently; self-starter mentality required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• General office skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• Position could possibly be done remotely for some days within a normal work week (discussion needed).
• References required; dependable transportation; valid driver license with a reasonable driving record.
• Punctual, hardworking, and dependable; presentable.
• Must pass background check; drug-free with random testing.
