Dedicated and reliable Irrigation Technician

This is a permanent, year-round role offering consistent scheduling of 40–50 hours weekly.

Your Daily Impact
As an Irrigation Technician, you will engage directly with our residential and commercial clientele to ensure their systems function at peak efficiency.
- Execute seasonal system activations and winterization procedures.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and swap out various irrigation system components.
- Identify system malfunctions to determine the most effective repair strategies.
- Configure and calibrate irrigation controllers to maximize system performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and comprehensive system inspections.
- Install or replace irrigation hardware as the situation requires.
- Help ensure regulatory compliance by performing backflow-related tasks if you are qualified.
- Utilize an iPad and ServiceTitan software to manage daily routes, work orders, and client data.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation for all service visits.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through professional and helpful communication.
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, and technical equipment remain in excellent condition.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all safety protocols.
- Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Assist with additional irrigation service and maintenance tasks as required.
A Typical Day
- Collect your assigned company service van and iPad.
- Review your daily route and specific job requirements.
- Travel to various residential and commercial sites.
- Execute necessary irrigation services and repairs.
- Typically conclude your day between 4:00–4:30 PM, though some days may extend to finish pending tasks.
- Return the company vehicle and equipment to the shop upon completion of your shift.
In specific instances, technicians may be permitted to take their service vehicle home, depending on individual circumstances. You can generally anticipate 40–50 hours of work per week, with potential for additional hours if desired.
Schedule and Environment
- Full-time, year-round employment.
- Standard schedule is Monday through Friday.
- Weekends are generally yours to keep.
- Occasional weekend availability may be required during peak seasons to help the team stay on track.
- This role does not involve traditional on-call rotations.
- Management typically handles emergency calls, though you may occasionally be asked to assist.
- Extra hours are frequently available for those interested in volunteering.
- Expect to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

- Knowledge of electrical or low‑voltage systems.
- Proven mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- Hold a backflow certification or have relevant experience.
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field‑service management software.
