Job summary

HeartLand, LLC is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to support installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems for local clients. You will work with high-performing crews to deliver quality results on every project.

The role involves troubleshooting irrigation components, performing seasonal services, tracking parts and service logs, and clear communication with clients and team leads.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of irrigation experience (commercial preferred).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Comfort using tools, wiring systems, and reading site plans.
• Backflow certification or willingness to obtain (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems (clocks, valves, heads, pumps).
• Perform seasonal services (activations, winterizations, audits).
• Track parts, materials, and service logs.
• Communicate with clients and team leads about system needs.
• Support snow operations or enhancement crews in off-season.
