Job summary

Insulation Commandos of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated Insulation Technician to join our expanding team. You will install and remove insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings, including radiant barriers and air sealing, to improve energy efficiency and comfort.

You will work with a small crew, travel to job sites, follow safety guidelines, document work performed, and contribute to quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as required.
• Experience in insulation installation or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Insulation Installation: Install insulation materials in walls, crawl spaces and ceiling cavities according to project specs.
• Insulation Removal: Safely remove old insulation with care to building structure.
• Radiant Barrier Installation: Install radiant barriers to improve energy efficiency.
• Rodent Mitigation: Seal openings to prevent pests from entering insulated spaces.
• Air Sealing: Identify and seal air leaks to improve efficiency.
• Material Handling: Move materials to job sites and store safely.
• Safety: Follow PPE guidelines and safety protocols at all times.
• Quality Control: Ensure installation meets standards and best practices.
• Documentation: Record materials used, hours, and any issues encountered.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and supervisors.
