McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning Services of DE, LLC. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, service, repair, and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in a busy field environment. Responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, handling refrigerants and fuel sources, and maintaining accurate service records while pursuing state Journeyman licensing with company support.

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC systems knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools and meters.
• Strong customer communication and safety focus.
• Willingness to obtain Journeyman licensing with company support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Work with refrigerants, natural gas, propane, electrical systems, and other materials safely.
• Perform brazing and service procedures with proper tools and safety practices.
• Communicate conditions and options clearly to customers, offering quality service.
• Maintain service records, parts used, and follow-up notes.
• Keep tools, equipment, vehicles, and PPE in safe, organized condition.
• Pursue applicable state Journeyman licensing with company support.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

CFC certification

State Journeyman license (plus)

Valid driver’s license
