Job summary

McClure Company is seeking an HVAC Service Technician in the Philadelphia area to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of equipment including RTUs, boilers, and chillers. The role emphasizes customer-focused service and maintenance accounts, with strong emphasis on communication and field performance.

You will perform periodic maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, and conduct site surveys while coordinating with internal teams and customers on project status.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC field experience.
• Understanding of Building Management systems.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted and diverse role.
• Effective communication with various departments, verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer advocacy.
• Good organizational, analytical and problem‑solving ability.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Energetic with a high sense of urgency.
• Refrigeration experience not required but encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic HVAC maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Troubleshoot wiring, relay logic, control systems.
• Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify mechanical and operating malfunctions within a facility.
• Facilitate adequate communication among the internal team, sub-contractors, and customers.
• Demonstrate leadership and clear communication to all stakeholders.
• Provide quality customer service and follow-up as needed.
• Interface with customers at all levels and coordinate status of upcoming projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
