Job summary

Magnolia Heating and Cooling in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems while delivering outstanding customer service. The role requires 2+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA/CFC universal certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA/CFC Universal Certification required.
• HVAC Journeyman license preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend effective solutions to customers.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service at all times.
• Meet productivity and performance goals established by the company.
• Keep accurate service records and complete required documentation.
• Maintain truck stock, tools, and inventory according to company guidelines.
• Follow vehicle maintenance schedules and maintain a clean, organized service vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
