Job summary

Sky Heating, A/C, Plumbing & Electrical in the Portland area seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician who will work weekends and participate in a highly competitive spiff and commission program. This role may offer a four-day workweek in the future.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of residential HVAC service experience, including diagnostics and repairs.
• Willingness and availability to work weekends.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
• Identify system issues and provide effective repair solutions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate repair recommendations clearly to homeowners.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
