Job summary

Lee Company is seeking a journeyman-level HVAC technician to perform residential maintenance and service. The role covers installs, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, heaters, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.

Summary of Job

This position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the journeyman level. Technician will be primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service
• EPA Certification
• Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Skills and Abilities

• Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and electronics of system
• Able to troubleshoot and repair basic piping systems, to include copper, plastic, and carbon steel
• Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques
• Knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment
