Job summary

Ted’s Air, Plumbing, Electric is seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain home HVAC systems, delivering high-quality service from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has strong technical ability, clear communication, and a genuine aim to build trust with homeowners in their homes. Valid driver’s license required and EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of residential HVAC experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; able to collaborate and ask questions when needed.
• EPA certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repairs, and maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
• Diagnose heating and cooling issues and recommend solutions.
• Service, diagnose, and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and IAQ systems.
• Ensure work meets local codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
• Educate homeowners on performance, efficiency, and preventive maintenance.
• Build rapport with customers through professionalism and respect for their home.

• Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
• Educate homeowners on system performance, efficiency improvements, and preventive maintenance in a clear and respectful manner.
• Build strong rapport with customers through professionalism, communication, and respect for their home and time.
• Complete required documentation, invoices, and service records accuratelyandtimely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, company vehicle, and tools.
