HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel to homes and businesses as scheduled
• Identify customer concerns with their HVAC systems and perform repairs
• Inspect HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance
• Repair residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and resources
• Apply thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and methods
• Provide excellent customer service and sales skills
• Follow HVAC safety standards and protocols
• Utilize problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Continue learning about HVAC technologies
• Perform routine maintenance
• Communicate effectively with clients and customers
• Order and maintain equipment
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams
• Understand refrigeration cycles

HVAC Technician Requirements and Qualifications

• EPA certification to handle refrigerants
• Proficiency with manual and power tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Willing to undergo a background check
• At least 3 years of experience in residential HVAC

You will have your own truck to take home daily.

You will be treated with respect and will be home for dinner every night!
