Job summary

John C. Flood is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician in the Northern Virginia area. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and mini-splits, while educating homeowners on options and maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role offers a Sunday-through-Thursday schedule, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with Fridays and Saturdays off, plus competitive pay with incentives and company benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance and testing on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and IAQ equipment.
• Work safely in attics, crawlspaces, and other residential environments.
• Educate homeowners and provide detailed repair and replacement options.
• Present financing and maintenance plan options when appropriate.
• Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
