HVAC Service Tech - Residential - $27-$40/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking experienced Service Technicians with at least 3 years, preferably 5+ years, of HVAC experience. The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems in residential settings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years HVAC service experience required; 5+ preferred
• Universal EPA Certification required
• Motivated self-starter
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Clean background check

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance on various HVAC equipment
• Read electrical and refrigerant schematics for diagnostics
• Replace parts to restore system operation
• Handle complex service activities independently
• Communicate issues and solutions to customers, including pricing
• Coordinate with office staff on repair timeframes
• Maintain necessary tools for repairs
• Collaborate with team members and assist other technicians as needed
• Work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime as required
• Follow all safety policies
• Attend industry training sessions to stay current
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly
• Perform additional duties as assigned
