Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC installation experience in new residential construction.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and construction drawings.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required).
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install complete HVAC systems in new residential construction, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, and related components.
• Read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and installation drawings.
• Set equipment, run ductwork, refrigerant lines, gas piping, and condensate drains.
• Ensure installations meet local and national codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and verification of proper operation.
• Coordinate work with builders, superintendents, and other trades on job sites.
• Maintain accurate installation records and keep tools and workspace safe.
