Job summary

Sobieski New Homes of Edgewood, MD is hiring a full-time HVAC Mechanic for Residential New Construction to install heating and cooling systems in new homes and mentor HVAC helpers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of new home construction experience.
• Knowledge of applicable state codes.
• Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot environments and tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces).
• Own hand tools used by HVAC mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Install heating and cooling systems in new homes.
• Mentor/train HVAC helpers.
• Typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime during peak periods.
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety in installation work.
