Job summary

A-1 Mechanical is looking for Residential New Construction HVAC Installers to join our Columbus, OH team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in installation of HVAC systems and their required accessories, demonstrating expertise in quality standards and mechanical code requirements.

No HVAC experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. You will install equipment, perform gas piping, duct systems, copper refrigerant lines, and wire for both low and line voltage,

Qualifications

• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license with no major driving infractions for 4+ years.
• Must be able to pass a physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, late nights, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment, gas piping, duct systems, copper refrigerant lines, and wire to low and line voltage equipment.
• Execute brazing and soldering of copper refrigerant lines with precision and care.
• Manage inventory on company vehicles, ensuring parts are stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with builders, adhering to schedules and providing clear explanations.
• Complete all paperwork accurately at the end of each day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
