Job summary

Loren's Heating & Air in Salem, OR is hiring a Residential HVAC Installer to perform installations for residential and light commercial systems. You will work with journeymen, learn best practices, and contribute to high-quality, efficient climate control installations.

The role requires 2+ years field install experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to read blueprints. A valid driver's license and physical ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years field installation experience.
• EPA Universal 608 Certification.
• Proficient in HVAC ductwork design and installation.
• Ability to follow blueprints and interpret technical instructions.
• Must lift and carry 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC trade school certification (desired).
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial HVAC installations.
• Collaborate with journeyman and learn on the job.
• Install gas piping, refrigerant piping, furnaces, heat pumps, geothermal, and radiant heat components.
• Troubleshoot installations and ensure quality workmanship.
• Advise customers on repairs, upgrades, IAQ accessories, and replacement options.
• Earn hands-on training and industry certifications (EPA, NATE, Carrier).

Residential HVAC Installer

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 40 hours per week | with 4/10's available seasonally | overtime available

Job Duties:

• Residential and light commercial HVAC installations


• Working with and learning form a journeyman


• Installing Gas Pipe, Refrigeration Pipe, Gas and electric furnace, Heat Pump, Geothermal, Radiant Heat ect.


• Troubleshooting installations


• Consult on customer on repair, upgrades, IAQ accessories, and replacement options


• Gaining hand on training and industry certifications: EPA Certifications, NATE's, and Carrier Factory training

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 + years field installation experience


• EPA Universal 608 Certification


• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems


• Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions


• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Certification in HVAC from a Trade School - Desired


• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
