Job summary

Pace Heating and Air in Albany (Corvallis area) seeks an HVAC Installer to perform residential and light commercial installations. You will work with a journeyman and install gas piping, refrigerant piping, furnaces, heat pumps, geothermal, and radiant heating systems, while troubleshooting and advising on repairs and upgrades.

The role requires EPA Universal 608 certification, 2+ years field experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years field installation experience.
• EPA Universal 608 Certification.
• Proficient in HVAC design and ductwork installation.
• Ability to follow blueprints and technical instructions.
• Must lift and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Residential and light commercial HVAC installations.
• Working with and learning from a journeyman.
• Installing gas pipe, refrigerant piping, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, geothermal, radiant heat, etc.
• Troubleshooting installations.
• Consult on repair, upgrades, IAQ accessories, and replacement options.
• Hands-on training and industry certifications: EPA Certifications, NATEs, Carrier Factory training

HVAC Installer | $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 40 hours per week | 4/10's available seasonally | overtime available

What You Will Be Doing

• Residential and light commercial HVAC installations
• Working with and learning form a journeyman
• Installing Gas Pipe, Refrigeration Pipe, Gas and electric furnace, Heat Pump, Geothermal, Radiant Heat ect.
• Troubleshooting installations
• Consult on customer on repair, upgrades, IAQ accessories, and replacement options
• Gaining hand on training and industry certifications: EPA Certifications, NATE's, and Carrier Factory training

What We Are Looking For

• 2 + years field installation experience
• EPA Universal 608 Certification
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in HVAC from a Trade School - Desired
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
