Job summary

Loren's Heating and Air in Salem, OR is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to perform service, maintenance, and repair on commercial equipment with occasional residential work. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs, and aid in system optimization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial HVAC service and occasional residential work
• Conduct annual and routine maintenance
• Diagnose, service, and repair equipment
• Respond to on-demand service calls for commercial customers
• Close out work orders in Service Factor as tasks are completed

Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Pay: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour + Spiffs

Work hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm | Monday through Friday | overtime as needed

What you will be doing:

• Commercial HVAC Service with some Residential as needed
• Annual / routine maintenance
• Diagnostics, service, and repair work
• Dispatched to on-demand service calls to our commercial customers
• Completing all work orders in Service Factor as calls are completed

What We Are Looking For:

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Low Voltage License preferred
• Strong knowledge of various HVAC systems, equipment, and troubleshooting methods
• Ability to accurately assess repair-versus-replacement options
• Willingness to participate in training courses, seminars, and pursue NATE certifications
• Excellent understanding of safe work practices, including proper use of tools, testing equipment, and awareness of job-site surroundings
• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC certification from an accredited trade school preferred
• Valid driver's licence with a clean, insurable driving record

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
