Job summary

IES is seeking a Residential HVAC Installation Technician to handle rough-in and trim work for home heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in the north Houston / Conroe area. Install equipment and ductwork in new or existing residences, ensuring safe, efficient work in accordance with company standards.

Minimum 2–4 years in residential HVAC installation; valid Texas driver license; ability to read blueprints and specs; EPA certification preferred; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical docs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC equipment (furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, thermostats).
• Perform rough-in and trim installation phases.
• Follow blueprints and specs to ensure code-compliant installs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and document work.
