Job summary

Quality 1 Energy Systems Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks an Residential HVAC Install Manager to lead and scale our residential installation operations. You will own installation performance, mentor crews, and drive quality through pre-install inspections and strict safety standards.

The role reports to Operations leadership and offers a clear path to expanding the install team as the department grows, with a competitive hourly rate and a family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on residential HVAC installation experience.
• At least 2 years leading or managing installation teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (ducted/ductless, heat pumps, gas furnaces).
• Valid EPA 608 Certification and driver's license.
• Familiarity with DFW permitting and code requirements.
• Ability to manage schedules and customer communication simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential install crews to meet safety, workmanship, CRM usage and appearance standards.
• Perform pre-install inspections of ductwork, site conditions, and equipment placement.
• Conduct quality control inspections on completed installs and enforce codes.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and permitting questions in real time.
• Coordinate installation schedules across multiple teams with sales and ops leadership.
• Monitor metrics like team efficiency, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.
• Address escalated customer concerns to maintain brand trust.

The Opportunity

You will take complete ownership of residential installation operations, transforming pre-install accuracy into seamless daily executions for a premier family-owned company. By performing detailed pre-install inspections and maintaining high quality standards, you will directly prevent issues on install day and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction. As our department expands, you will have a clear, direct path to recruit, mentor, and scale our high-performing installation team over time.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Oversee residential install crews to uphold strict standards for safety, workmanship, CRM usage, and professional appearance.
• Conduct critical pre-install inspections of ductwork, site conditions, and equipment placement to eliminate install-day obstacles.
• Perform rigorous quality control inspections on completed HVAC installations while holding crews accountable to code compliance.
• Resolve on-site technical issues, local permitting questions, and installation code concerns in real time.
• Coordinate installation schedules across multiple teams in close partnership with sales and operations leadership.
• Monitor core operational metrics including team efficiency, callback rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Address and resolve escalated customer concerns regarding installation work to maintain high brand trust.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading, supervising, or managing installation teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of residential HVAC systems, including ducted, ductless, heat pumps, and gas furnaces.
• Active EPA 608 Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong command of local DFW permitting processes and code requirements.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, direct field teams, and handle customer communication simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Active NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Certification.
• Demonstrated experience scaling field teams and optimizing operational processes within a growing HVAC business.
