Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking an HVAC Specialist to mainta in mechanical systems across a 300-property portfolio. Field-based work focuses on boilers, hydronic heating, A/C, swamp coolers, and chillers with plumbing as a secondary duty.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain core systems affecting tenant comfort and safety. The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential or multifamily settings, EPA 608 certification preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Extensive hands-on HVAC experience with boilers and cooling systems.
• EPA 608 certification preferred; plumbing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service HVAC units, boilers, and forced air heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair cooling systems including swamp coolers and chillers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal changeovers.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues across facilities.
• Respond quickly to work orders and communicate with residents and teams.
• Conduct inspections and submit clear service reports.
