Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a House Manager in Kentucky to oversee residential and/or day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role blends direct care with supervision, coordinating staff and services to meet individualized goals and plans.

You will supervise personnel, ensure orientation and ongoing training, and manage program operations, including medical and financial aspects, while maintaining flexible hours and strong communication with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field of study preferred.
  • At least 1 year full time, direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience in management and working with development disabilities.
  • Must demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible, mature, and flexible.
  • A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process
  • Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.

Responsibilities

Job Description
What You Get To Do:

As the House Manager you will have oversight and be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program or programs (residential and/or day program) in relation to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD). This position is a mixture of both direct care and supervisory duties.

Main duties include:
