Paths Building Services LLC is seeking a professional Handyperson to maintain and repair residential properties in Orlando, FL. You will support day-to-day operations, coordinate with the Property Manager, and respond to tenant requests to keep buildings functioning smoothly.

The role requires strong hands-on skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work, plus good communication with tenants and staff. A flexible schedule and access to your own tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as maintenance technician/handyperson.
• Able to perform light plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical tasks.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication with tenants and staff.
• Owns or has access to necessary handyperson tools.
• Reliable vehicle for property site visits.

Residential Handyperson

Summary:

We are looking for a professional Handyperson with residential building maintenance skills to assist with the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment. This position will coordinate and complete all requested work, assign priorities, and follow up on completion.

Non-exempt (eligible for overtime); Non-Union

Essential functions/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following

• Performs routine maintenance work and makes repairs to properties as needed, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, light electrical
• Works closely with Property Manager/ Superintendent who will help coordinate tasks
• Coordinates with tenants to set times to access apartments to make repairs
• Efficiently manages incoming service requests
• Repair of walkways and exteriors
• Tracks time and logs activities and the work completed for each job
• Completes renovation projects as needed
• Performs high-quality work with attention to detail
• On-call rotations with the Superintendent to respond to tenant requests and issues, with compensation provided for travel to the property.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience with a successful track record as maintenance tech/handyperson
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including additional hours and adjusted shifts as required
• Experienced and knowledgeable in construction and maintenance
• Able to handle a wide variety of repairs (including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Good at troubleshooting and problem solving
• Good communication skills to communicate with tenants and other staff effectively.
• Good at using e-mail, text messages, and apps for business purposes
• Has a reliable vehicle to travel around to property locations (where applicable)
• Owns all tools needed for general handyperson tasks- is a PLUS

Pay Range:

$16.00 - $18.50
