Paths Building Services LLC is seeking a hands-on Residential Handyperson in Lawrence, MA. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and efficient operation of building systems and equipment.

You will coordinate tasks, prioritize work orders, and follow up to ensure completion. The candidate should have at least 2 years of maintenance/handyperson experience, basic trades skills, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience as maintenance tech/handyperson
• Flexible schedule including additional hours and shifted shifts as required
• Experienced in construction and maintenance
• Able to handle repairs (painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Strong communication with tenants and staff
• Proficient with email, texts, and apps for business use
• Reliable vehicle for travel to properties
• Owns tools for handyperson tasks (a PLUS)

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs to properties, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and light electrical work
• Collaborates with Property Manager/Superintendent to coordinate tasks
• Coordinates with tenants to schedule access for repairs
• Manages incoming service requests and logs work performed
• Repairs walkways and exteriors as needed
• Tracks time and documents activities for each job
• Completes renovation projects as required
• Delivers high-quality work with attention to detail
• On-call rotations with travel compensation

Residential Handyperson

Summary: We are looking for a professional Handyperson with residential building maintenance skills to assist with the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment. This position will coordinate and complete all requested work, assign priorities, and follow up on completion.

Classification: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime); Non-Union

Essential functions/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following

• Performs routine maintenance work and makes repairs to properties as needed, including light plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, light electrical
• Works closely with Property Manager/ Superintendent who will help coordinate tasks
• Coordinates with tenants to set times to access apartments to make repairs
• Efficiently manages incoming service requests
• Repair of walkways and exteriors
• Tracks time and logs activities and the work completed for each job
• Completes renovation projects as needed
• Performs high-quality work with attention to detail
• On-call rotations with the Superintendent to respond to tenant requests and issues, with compensation provided for travel to the property.

Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience with a successful track record as maintenance tech/handyperson
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including additional hours and adjusted shifts as required
• Experienced and knowledgeable in construction and maintenance
• Able to handle a wide variety of repairs (including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Good at troubleshooting and problem solving
• Good communication skills to communicate with tenants and other staff effectively.
• Good at using e-mail, text messages, and apps for business purposes
• Has a reliable vehicle to travel around to property locations (where applicable)
• Owns all tools needed for general handyperson tasks- is a PLUS

Pay Range: $!7.00 - $19.50
