Job summary

Honey Homes in Chicago is hiring experienced handymen to service a territory of 40–50 homes with steady daytime hours, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, no evenings or on-call. You’ll tackle carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and more across multiple trades, delivering reliable upkeep for homeowners.

Compensation includes $35/hour (~$72,800/year), a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid holidays and PTO, 100% employer-paid health, vision and dental, 401(k), and mileage reimbursement as you drive between

Qualifications

• 5+ years of handyman or multi-trade experience required.
• Experience across carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home repair and maintenance across multiple trades.
• Carpentry (doors, trim, framing, repairs).
• Painting and drywall patching.
• Plumbing (toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs).
• Electrical (fixtures, outlets, small wiring tasks).
• Smart home device installation.
• Manage 40–50 homes within a small territory and track work in the app.
