Honey Homes is hiring skilled handymen for a dedicated Chicago territory. You’ll service 40-50 homes with a steady schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, and no evenings or weekends. Earn $35/hr with a $1000 sign-on and 12 holidays + 13 PTO, plus full health benefits and company perks.

You will perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and smart-home tasks, using an app to track work and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years handyman or multi-trade experience.
• Experience across carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to learn from skilled tradespeople and work with homeowners.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Honey Homes is hiring the best handymen in Chicago! You'll serve a dedicated territory of 40-50 homes, no client hunting, no unpredictable schedules, no weekends. Just steady, well-paid work close to home.

What You’ll Do

• Perform residential home repair and maintenance technician tasks across multiple trades.
• Carpentry (doors, trim, framing, repairs)

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of handyman or multi-trade experience required.
• Skilled across multiple trade areas under and learning from skilled carpenters, drywallers, painters, plumbers, and electricians.
• Prior work as a maintenance technician, carpenter, plumber, or electrician strongly preferred.
• Experience in residential home repair and upkeep across multiple trade areas.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability — can independently assess and fix most issues in a home.
• Attention to detail (clean caulk lines, professional patching, and painting).
• Customer-friendly attitude — great listener, strong communicator, proactive.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Comfortable working on ladders or scaffolding at heights up to 12 feet.
