Job summary

Monte Nido Atlanta, located in Sandy Springs, GA, is seeking a Full-time Group Facilitator - Residential to support adults in a residential eating disorder program. You will lead therapeutic groups, supervise meal support, and collaborate with clinical, medical, and nursing teams to ensure safety and adherence to program standards.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in social work or related field, experience with eating disorders in residential settings, and a commitment to DEI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or another related field is strongly preferred
• Prior experience treating those with eating disorders in a residential or inpatient setting is very helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices

Responsibilities

• Plan, structure, and facilitate clinical groups (e.g., CBT/DBT skills, coping strategies, relapse prevention)
• Adapt group content to the client's level of functioning and treatment goals
• Maintain group safety, boundaries, and engagement
• Collaborate with the treatment team to integrate group work into the overall care plans
• Participates in and monitors daily meals and snacks, facilitating the pre-meal and post-meal process; provide calm, supportive encouragement around food
• Provide direct client care within the program setting (check-ins, support around skills use, brief interventions, meal support)
