Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Grounds Technician to join our on-site operations team, supporting a positive resident experience at the community.

You will maintain grounds, parking lots, and common areas; assist with irrigation and sprinkler repairs as needed; and report issues to management while adhering to safety and dress code policies. Excellent communication with residents is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to shovel snow and clear ice from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt during snow season.
• Ability to work outdoors in temperatures extremes.
• Lift up to 20 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning software.

Responsibilities

• General upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community.
• Upkeep of parking lots, grounds, corridors, stairs, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms.
• Collecting and removing trash as needed.
• Weeding beds and edging landscape borders.
• Monitor irrigation system; repair sprinkler heads/lines as required.
• Report unhealthy lawn, trees, shrubs, and plants to management.
• Rake grounds and sweep sidewalks and parking lots.
