Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a Service Electrician/Generator Technician to handle electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential systems, with a focus on generator services.

You will troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, install and service generator systems, and ensure all work meets safety standards and codes while communicating clearly with customers for high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in a similar role.
• Experience with generator systems.
• Residential electrical experience.
• Strong maintenance knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential systems.
• Install, test, and service generator systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Interact with customers to diagnose problems and communicate service results.
