EKG Security, Inc. is seeking a professional Security Officer to patrol a gated residential community in Charlotte, NC. This full-time, unarmed position focuses on access control, community safety, and resident assistance, with a schedule of Thursday to Monday 11pm-7am.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and control access to the community entrance and exit points.
• Verify resident and visitor access as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property by foot or vehicle.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, accidents, or incidents.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Maintain awareness of community rules, post orders, and site procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and notify law enforcement, fire personnel, or management when necessary.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Monitor areas for unusual conditions impacting security or safety.
• Complete required post-order training and site familiarization.

Job Description

EKG Security is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to provide security services for a gated residential community in Charlotte, NC. This unarmed position is responsible for monitoring community access, conducting security patrols, assisting residents and visitors, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the community entrance and exit points.
• Verify resident and visitor access as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property by foot or vehicle.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, accidents, or incidents.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.

• Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify law enforcement, fire personnel, or management when necessary.

• Monitor assigned areas for unusual conditions that may impact security or safety.

Essential Functions

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Patrol the property in various weather conditions.
• Effectively communicate with residents, visitors, and team members.
• Read, write, and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Use a computer, smartphone, or tablet for reporting and communication purposes.
• Operate radio and telephone equipment when required.
• Understand and follow site-specific policies and procedures.
• Work weekends and additional shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate basic computer systems, email, and mobile applications.
• Ability to pass any state-required licensing and training requirements.
• Must complete site-specific training before working independently.
• Must have a mobile phone and active email address.
• Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English.
• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
