American Campus Communities is hiring a Service Technician for its Uptown property in Denton, TX. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, process and close work orders, and support preventative maintenance to keep resident areas in top condition.

The role requires attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work independently while following established procedures. Candidates will support vendor coordination and property upkeep to ensure a safe, clean living environment for

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Ability to perform and close out work orders efficiently.
• Must be available for after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders in a timely manner with quality and efficiency.
• Close out work orders in the system and track using tools.
• Assist in property turn process and coordinate with vendors.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maintain operations.
• Inspect public areas and resident apartments to ensure standards.
• Operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment following safety protocols.
• Escort and assist vendors on-site as needed.
• Keep shop, storage, and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with vendors for snow removal and landscaping.
• Assist with curb appeal, trash collection, and cleaning.
